What was published
HMRC published the Budget 2026 rates and allowances tables. They list Corporation Tax rates of 25% and 19%, with £50,000 and £250,000 thresholds. Publication of the tables does not itself mean a new rate increase.
What to check in a model
A practical calculation should account for small profits rate eligibility, marginal relief, associated companies and the length of the accounting period.
The next step
Reconcile model assumptions with HMRC’s current rates and thresholds.
